This site is a collection of tales of our adventures, both on and off the water. Welcome aboard.

Welcome aboard. This site is a collection of tales about our experiences (mostly so that we ourselves have a reminder). Most of the events documented in our Travelogues have - so far - taken place along the west coast of Florida aboard our trawler Sea Gator with her two people, one cat named Goldie, and one dinghy named Bump Head.

We've also included in-depth articles about People, Places and Things we've enjoyed and Boat Improvement Projects that have proved useful - use the links at left or below.

What is a hook on a pole used for retrieving or picking up objects and for fending off? A "boathook" is an invaluable tool and our website's namesake.
